Rare One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Coggled Vine Decoration, attributed to the Thompson Pottery, Morgantown, WV, circa 1855, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, the shoulder additionally decorated with a coggled vine design extending around its circumference. Area of shoulder broken out and reglued with associated thin cracks extending from it as well as a small filled surface flake.
