Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Northeastern U.S. origin, circa 1865, a one-gallon cylindrical crock with cobalt leaf decoration, stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT", paired with a two-gallon jug with cobalt floral motif, stamped twice "LYONS", attributed to Thompson Harrington, Lyons, NY. Norton crock in excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor chip on interior of rim. Jug with large chip to side of spout, some fry to cobalt, minor base wear, and a small Y-shaped surface line near base.
