Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "GEDDES. N.Y.", William H. Farrar, Geddes, NY, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a large brushed and slip-trailed design of three flowers extending from a group of leaves. Slip-trailed "2" to shoulder. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Heavy chipping to base. Some spots of restoration to surface, including some touch-up to a few small areas of decoration.
