Two New York State Stoneware Jugs, circa 1860-1885, a two-gallon cylindrical jug with large floral motif, stamped "N. CLARK, JR. / ATHENS. N Y"; paired with a two-gallon cylindrical jug with brushed and slip-trailed flowering vine motif, stamped "N.A. WHITE & SON, / UTICA, N.Y.". Clark jug with some fry to cobalt, a small in-the-firing base chip, a small glazed-over spout chip, and some cotton residue on underside. White jug with two spout chips and a minor chip to underside at edge.
