One-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and heavy tooling to the collar and body, the midsection decorated with three large drooping floral motifs, the collar decorated with four leaf designs. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Loss to spout. A 1 1/4", in-the-firing rim chip, which is glazed over. A second, post-firing rim chip.
