Three-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Bird Decoration, attributed to the Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th century, cylindrical jar with flared collar and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird perched on a stylized branch. A 6 1/4" crack from rim on reverse. Several small chips to interior of rim. A 1 3/8" chip to exterior of rim. A large Y-shaped surface line on underside, not visible on interior, part of which continues 1 1/8" onto base.
