Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Clarington, Ohio Advertising, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and rounded rim with wax sealer interior, the front featuring the stenciled cobalt advertising, "From / W.R. MALLORY, / CLARINGTON. / OHIO". A small chip to inner wax sealer rim and other wear to interior of rim. A 1 3/8" hairline from rim on front. Some light wear to stenciling. H 8 1/2".
