Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, Western PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with stepped collar moldings and flared rim, the body decorated in Albany slip with a brushed undulating vine design. Freehand stripe decoration to rim, collar, and base. Brushed Albany slip highlight to lower handle terminal. Desirable size. Excellent condition with two minuscule rim nicks. H 5 1/8".
