Rare Ovoid Copper-Glazed Redware Flowerpot, Stamped "JOHN BELL / WAYNESBORO'", PA origin, circa 1850-1880, ovoid flowerpot with thin, semi-rounded rim featuring a slightly-raised molding to interior edge, the base with attached saucer with flared rim. Surface covered in a mottled-green copper glaze. Shoulder impressed with John Bell maker's mark. Rare ovoid form, desirable color, and exceptional condition. Excellent condition with minor edge chips. H 6".
