Rare Molded Stoneware Water Cooler with Blue, Green, and Brown Slip Decorations, attributed to the White's Pottery, Utica, NY, late 19th century, with the molded scene of two men in a tavern waited on by a lady. Reverse decorated with a large woman's head. Molded designs meticulously painted in cobalt and green and brown slips with detail to figures' faces, clothing, and surroundings, Floor of tavern scene decorated with a cobalt checkerboard pattern. Lines at base continuing partway onto underside. Height 16 1/8".
