Two Virginia Stoneware Advertising Jugs, Greensboro, PA and Parkersburg, WV origin, circa 1875-1880, both of approximate one-gallon size, one stenciled "E.J. MILLER, SON / & CO. / CHINA & / GLASSWARE. / ALEXANDRIA, VA", Greensboro, PA origin; the other stenciled "E.B. TAYLOR / Richmond, Va.", attributed to A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV. Miller jug in excellent condition with a dark-colored salt drip to handle. Taylor jug in excellent condition with some staining to surface and minor traces of gray paint to handle.
