Six Pieces of Rockinghamware, American or English, 19th century, a pair of reclining lions on base, each covered in a mottled brown glaze over a cream ground, possibly English; together with four figural stove lifts, probably American. Provenance: Robert Meltzer Collection. Lion figures in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Minor chips to stylized lion head stove lift. Some wear to muzzle of large lion head stove lift. All in otherwise excellent condition. L (of lion figures) 7 1/4" ; H (of tallest stove lift) 5 3/4".
