Three One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, New York State origin, third quarter 19th century, all of cylindrical form, one with slip-trailed leaf motif, stamped "C. HART / SHERBURNE"; one with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "CORTLAND"; and one lidded example with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "LYONS". Hart jar with rim chips and a 3 1/4" inverted Y-shaped hairline from rim. Cortland jar with chips to interior and exterior of rim, staining, and some minor chipping to base. Lyons jar with a 2 3/4" line from rim on reverse, a few small rim chips on reverse, some staining, and a small in-the-firing chip on interior of rim. Lid with loss to knob, chips to edge, and lines from edge.
