One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Butter Crock with Lid, Stenciled "A.P. Donaghho, / Parkersburg, W.Va.", circa 1875, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded rim, featuring A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling. Includes a loosely-fitting, slightly-domed lid, attributed to Donaghho, but probably not original to this crock. A minor glazed-over base chip. Two minor chips on interior of rim. A glazed-over area of shallow chipping on interior of rim. Lid with two salt drips and chips and wear to flange on underside.
