Three Pieces of Glazed Redware, American, 19th and early 20th centuries, an ovoid jug, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, early 20th century; an apple butter jar with impressed asterisk at shoulder; and a porringer. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market group, from a sixty-year private collection. Jug in the firing roughness to top of spout, light wear to side of spout and handle, minor surface wear, and a minor in-the-firing flaw at base on reverse. Apple butter jar with wear to rim area, small chips to base, and small flakes to surface. Porringer in excellent condition with a minor base nick. H (of jug) 9 1/4".
