Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Pennsylvania origin, circa 1840-1880, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with three bands of wavy trails. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from a sixty-year private collection. Wear and knife marks to interior. Light wear to rim. A 4", thin, crack-like flake to underside. Diameter 7 3/4".
