One-and-a-Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Southeastern PA origin, circa 1860, ovoid pitcher with footed base and heavy tooling to collar and rim, decorated around the body with a large swag and hanging flower design. Collar decorated with brushed leaves flanking a series of dashes along the spout. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Four hairlines from rim, measuring 2 1/2", 1 1 1/2", 1 1/4", and 1". Otherwise excellent condition.
