Glazed Redware Jar, New England origin, circa 1840, ovoid jar with footed base, coggled shoulder, applied tab handles, and tooled rim, the surface covered in a streaky lead glaze over a dark-olive ground, accented with orange spotting throughout. Appealing form. Some in-the-firing rim chips and a small post-firing rim chip. Base chips. Minor wear to handles. H 10".
