Unusual Stoneware Beer Mug with Incised Decoration, Hue, Ohio origin, Dated 1902, barrel-form mug with tooled shoulder and narrow applied handle, decorated with incised looping line, sawtooth, and X motifs above an incised floral motif and the incised inscriptions, "Hue o. / Beer" and "1902". Surface covered in a chocolate-brown Albany slip glaze. Excellent condition with a small rim chip. H 6 3/8".
