Flint Enamel Lidded Coffee Urn, attributed to Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT, circa 1849-1858, pedestal-based cooler with open handles, decorated with streaked olive, blue, red, and brown glazes over a cream-colored ground. Includes original domed lid and pewter spigot. Literature: For an example of this form, see Barret, Bennington Pottery and Porcelain, p. 83, pl. 109. Provenance: The Stradlings. Cooler in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Chips to flange on underside of lid. A restored chip to edge of lid. H (including lid) 21".
