One-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "CJB", Columbus Jackson Becham, Crawford County, GA, late 19th or early 20th century, squat-shaped jug with tooled shoulder and tall spout, the surface covered in a mottled, olive-colored alkaline glaze. Impressed "CJB" on handle. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Very nice condition with two shallow spout chips and a base chip.
