Three-Gallon Baltimore Jar with Exceptional Floral Decoration, circa 1840, semi-ovoid jar with squared rim and tab handles, decorated on the front with a large sweeping vine of leaves and flowers, and on the reverse with a vertical floral design. Ends of handles also decorated with cobalt brushwork. Beautiful decoration and vivid color. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Excellent condition w/ a few lines on front below decoration. Height 15 1/2".
