Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "COWDEN & WILCOX / HARRISBURG, PA", circa 1865, ovoid jug with tapered spout, decorated with a graduated blossom extending from a leafy stem. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, capacity mark, and handle terminals. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition.
