Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "W.H. FARRAR / GEDDES. N.Y.", circa 1860, cylindrical jug with semi-rounded spout, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed floral motif featuring tulips and spotted daisies. Slip-trailed "2" to shoulder. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Base chips. Spout chips. Some surface wear to right of decoration.
