Two-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "BREWER & HALM. / HAVANA.", New York State origin, circa 1855, squat-shaped, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and semi-squared rim, decorated with a brushed design of a tulip plant with spotted accents to the blossom and leaves. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. A 3" crack from rim on left side of jar's front. A small chip to interior of rim.
