Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Inscription, "Lyons", Stamped "J. FISHER / LYONS, N.Y.", circa 1890, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, inscribed "Lyons" in script with a freehand "2." above. A short, minor glazed-over line at base. Some old traces of reddish-brown paint to surface, unrelated to any sort of restoration. A small iron ping to front. A 1 1/2" salt drip to reverse.
