Two Stoneware Jugs with Grafton, WV Advertising, American, circa 1900, both with Bristol-slip-glazed surfaces, the larger example featuring cobalt advertising for "TOM McAVAY'S / FINE SALOON / DEALER IN / WINES & LIQUORS, / GRAFTON, W. VA."; the smaller example featuring black-glazed advertising for "R. STOLZENFELS, / Cor. St. John & R.R. Sts., / Grafton, - W. Va.". Smaller jug with reglued breaks to handle, shoulder, and spout. Larger jug with a few base and shoulder molding chips, the handle with a shallow chip and spider line. H (of taller jug) 11".
