Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stenciled "WILLIAMS & REPPERT. / GREENSBORO, PA.", circa 1885, ovoid jug with tooled spout, decorated with freehand stripes, a freehand "2" with flourishes, and a stenciled foliate motif at the center of Williams & Reppert maker's stenciling. Cobalt highlight to upper handle terminal. Some fry to cobalt. Otherwise excellent condition.
