Small-Sized Tanware Pitcher, New Geneva or Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1885, ovoid pitcher with pronounced molding at base of collar and semi-squared rim, decorated in Albany slip around the body with a series of swags flanking a central leaf or flower blossom. Albany slip stripes to bottom edge, base of collar, and rim. Collar and handle with dashed Albany slip decoration. Albany slip highlights to handle terminals. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Excellent condition with a minor nick to rim on reverse. H 5 1/2".
