Four-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Richard C. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1875, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and ribbed lug handles, decorated on the front and reverse with two large drooping tulips. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals and wavy line running underneath each handle. Reglued section at base. Otherwise excellent condition.
