Fine Stoneware Spittoon with Elaborate Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to Henry H. Remmey, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1850, with footed base and carved oval opening at shoulder, decorated around the body with a brushed tassel-shaped flower and swag motif. Exceptional color and condition. Provenance: Dr. Raymond L. Owen Collection. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 4 1/4" ; Diameter 7 5/8".
