Rare Two-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "E.H. FARRAR / NORTH BAY", New York State origin, circa 1851, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, decorated with a brushed tulip blossom featuring a spotted center, beside a freehand "2". Brushed cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Very nice condition with some brown residue on underside and on top of spout, some very light circumferential wear around body, and a small salt drip near base.
