Slip-Decorated Redware Flowerpot, Dated 1858, English origin, tapered pot with coggled rim, decorated with yellow-slip wavy line designs and the date "1858", the surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Saucer with brushed yellow slip highlight to edge and lead-glazed surface. Flowerpot with two rim chips and chips to molding at base. Saucer with 1 1/8" and 1/2" flakes to rim. H 8 1/2" ; Diameter (across rim) 12 1/2".
