Slip-Decorated Redware Plate, Huntington, NY origin, circa 1840, with coggled edge, the interior decorated in yellow slip with an elaborate impressed pinwheel design. Provenance: A fresh-to-the-market example, from an eighty-year private collection. Chips to top edge and bottom edge of rim, including a A 1 3/8" chip to underside at edge. Some flakes to interior. Diameter 10 1/2".
