Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Stamped "F.J. CAIRE / Huntington, L.I", New York State origin, circa 1854-1864, a one-gallon crock with a large tulip below a freehand X, paired with a one-gallon jug with large tulip below a leaf. Crock with restoration to right side of decoration, extending onto right side of crock. Jug with restoration to front, a shallow in-the-firing chip to spout, and an in-the-firing chip to underside.
