Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jars, Stamped "F.J. CAIRE, / Huntington, / L.I.", New York State origin, circa 1854-1863, a three-gallon jar, decorated with two tulips flanking a number "3"; paired with a four-gallon jar, decorated with a tulip flanked by swags. Provenance: Donald Matties Collection. Both with restorations, not affecting decoration.
