One-Gallon Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Bird-on-Stump Decoration, Stamped "WHITE'S UTICA", New York State origin, circa 1870, cylindrical jug with tapered spout, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a bird with turned head, perched on a stylized stump. Cobalt highlight to maker's mark. Two chips and a tiny nick to bottom edge. A chip to bottom edge of spout.
