Four-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug with Greenwich, NY Advertising, New York State origin, circa 1860, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring the impressed and cobalt-highlighted advertising, "J. HETHERINGTON. / 398 GREENWICH ST NY", flanked by scrolled vines along with wavy lines below. Cobalt highlight to capacity mark. A crack in lower handle terminal. A 4 3/4" cross-shaped line on side of jug.
