Two Pieces of New York Advertising Stoneware, circa 1875, a half-gallon jug, inscribed in cobalt "W.H. Eastbrook / Hoosick / Falls / N.Y"; paired with a jar with cobalt inscription, "Bauer Gibbs & Co, / 146 Reade St. / N.Y.", stamped "HAIDLE & ZIPF / UNION POTTERY, / NEWARK, N.J.". Jug with later 1 3/4" slot carved in side, possibly to convert it into a bank, otherwise excellent condition. Jar with mottling to surface, a chip on interior of rim, and heavy chipping to inner rim for lid.
