Half-Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Cobalt Foliate Decoration, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, ovoid pitcher with footed base and semi-squared rim molding, decorated with five large leaves extending around the midsection and graduated swags descending from the rim and accenting the spout. Cobalt highlights to handle terminals. Very nice overall condition. A small base chip on reverse. A 3/8" line at base. A small stone ping and tiny stone ping to left side of pitcher. Some staining to surface.
