Shenandoah Valley Multi-Glazed Redware Egg Cup, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, ovoid form with stepped pedestal base, the surface decorated with streaks of copper and cream-colored slip and covered in a clear lead glaze. Very nice overall condition. Wear to bottom edge. Some other minor wear to pedestal base. Two minor glaze flakes to rim. A very faint 1/2" line from rim. H 3 1/4".
