Copper-Slip-Decorated Redware Bowl, Mid-Atlantic origin, possibly Hagerstown, MD, circa 1800-1830, tapered bowl with semi-rounded rim, decorated with heavy, continuous trails of copper slip on the interior, along with a wavy trail of copper slip to the rim. Surface covered in a clear lead glaze. Some small, glazed-over in-the-firing losses to slip on rim. An approximately 1" filled and colored area on rim with a 1 1/2" partially-colored line descending from it. H 2 5/8" ; Diameter 8 3/4".
