Two Glazed Redware Jars, American, 19th century, a lead-and-manganese-glazed preserve jar with lid, paired with a cylindrical jar with heavy manganese sponging over a green ground with orange spotting. Smaller jar with chips to rim, some of which are glazed over, wear to interior of rim, a few base chips, and a 1" chip to lid along with other minor lid chips. Larger jar with a 1" chip to underside with crack running through it, small flakes to shoulder, and rim chips. H (of larger jar) 8 1/2".
