Stoneware Canning Jar with Stripe Decoration, Western PA origin, circa 1875, tapered jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded wax sealer rim, decorated with five boldly-brushed cobalt stripes across the front. Excellent color. Very nice condition with a 3/8" chip and a few other tiny chips to inner wax sealer. H 8".
