Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, Stamped "S. HART / FULTON", New York State origin, circa 1860, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed design of two leaves flanking the number "2". Cobalt highlights to maker's mark. A small U-shaped surface line in rim and a small rim chip. Some light staining to base area.
