One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jug, Stamped "C. CROLIUS / MANUFACTURER / NEW-YORK.", circa 1815, highly-ovoid jug with tooled shoulder and tapered spout molding, decorated with brushed cobalt spots around the maker's mark. Brushed cobalt highlights to handle terminals. A few short, minor lines at base and a faint Y-shaped line emanating from a surface tiny chip to side of jug.
