Five-Gallon Open-Handled Stoneware Jug with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "NEW YORK STONEWARE CO. / FORT EDWARD, N.Y.", circa 1875, cylindrical jug with tall spout and applied handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a floral spray with circular blossom. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Staining to surface. A 7/8" hairline in spout. Shallow chipping to interior.
