Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt 1878 Date Within a Wreath, Stamped "BULLARD & SCOTT / CAMBRIDGEPORT, MASS.", 1878, cylindrical crock with semi-rounded rim and applied lug handles, decorated with a slip-trailed design of a wreath surrounding the date "1878". Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Provenance: David Musser Collection. Excellent condition with small chips to handles.
