Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Canning Jar with Stenciled Bird Motif, Stenciled "T.F. REPPERT. / GREENSBORO, PA.", circa 1880, tapered jar with semi-rounded wax sealer rim, decorated with a stenciled bird-on-branch motif surrounded by T.F. Reppert maker's stenciling. Two small stenciled tulips above. Excellent, essentially as-made condition with a minor chip and minor wear to inner wax sealer rim. H 10 1/4".
