Two Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, attributed to the Remmey Pottery, Philadelphia, PA, circa 1865, a three-gallon ovoid jar with cobalt tulip decoration on front and reverse, paired with a cylindrical crock with hanging floral motif on front and reverse. Ovoid jar with a chip to one handle, in-the-firing separation to opposite handle, and rim chips. Cylindrical crock with a thin 3 3/4" Y-shaped crack descending from rim through one handle, a 2 1/4" loss to rim, and other small rim chips.
